I have a broody on some eggs right now! She's my first broody ever. I don't really have any new layers right now though. My parents might kill me if I hatch any more birds though... already 7 past my limit. Lol. This chicken math! I can't shake it!

Try having 11 meat birds, 9 Broad Breasted Turkeys, 9 Guineas, & several other chickens? We had buy are larger freezer for excess birds.

Lol! I have 7 laying hens, 1 bantam rooster, 1 guinea hen (who is convinced she's a chicken), 3 chicks, 6 soon to be chicks (under hen), 4 adult quail and 2 chicks, and 2 ducks. Lol. I'm way past my limit, we're only supposed to have 4 hens.

Really? I hope not. It's paler in real life.
Here's her brother Acorn. I'm pretty convinced he's a he. Not sure why he has a pea comb like his dad though.
