Hello, I hope you can help me out.
We have put hatching eggs under our broody hen for the first time.Yesterday (day22) we came home and 1 egg hatched - so there are still 9 eggs under the hen. There is no sign of movement with those other eggs....do you there might be any live left?
The thing is I missed to move the hen out from the laying nest....so in there there is not really a place to offer food and water to the baby as it will not be able to climb back into the nest.
We build a new hen house for that as we want to hatch more often but I read that the eggs should not be moved 3 days before the hatching date.
So we would like to move the hen with her baby to the new house but not sure what to do with the other 9 eggs....
do you have any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!
Sophie
