Change in Behavior - Less "Loving"

Mine go crazy over moist crickets in a can, I call “chick chiiiicks!” They come runnin. That’s how I get them in the coop when I have to leave in the afternoon for work. They also love grapes, and two of the three like blueberries.
Mine too, especially on the moist canned crickets! I can't even bear to look in the can, with all the random body parts clinging to the sides. :sick

Same for grapes and blueberries, although the grapes seem a bit tart. They'll chase around the one with the grape, steal it, and keep it in their mouth until the sour starts, then they get confused.

The one dead-certain treat that we use for collecting them and getting them to go where we want them is Trader Joe's Raw Sliced Almonds. Ingredients: Almonds, lol. They don't need refrigeration, so we can keep them handy in the steel feed can. Five stars, would recommend.

Raw cricket parts :sick NOPE Almonds I've got 3 pounds (Hubby got on a cooking kick last year about a lot!)

Hmm I’ll have to get some almonds, I have whole ones as they are my African greys favorite!
The absolutely only drawback to the ones we buy, other than the notoriously undersized Trader Joe's parking lots, is that the sliced ones look a lot like (1) the off-white buttons on the hems of my gardening shorts and (2) fingernails. Ouch.
