My pullets are all almost 7months old and were raised together. Welsummer has always been timid, running away from any conflict. My speckled Sussex has been the leader from what I can tell but together with my BO things have been extremely peaceful. We had a 4th, an ISA WHO CAUSED so many fights that she went back from whence she came. Out of nowhere my timid welsummer has been tagging my Sussex occasionally..any reason for this Change? Nothing has changed here as far as feed and routine etc..

The ISA was probably high ranking in the pecking order. Now that she is gone, the Welsummer is trying to improve her position.

Are they laying and for how long?
Pecking orders do change,
for reasons that can be completely unrecognizable to us humans.

Same question, which are laying and for how long? Pullets mature at different rates, often associated with when they start laying. The pecking order can change as they mature. It sounds like that is what is going on. As long as they don't draw blood they will work it out, it's pretty normal.

They have all been laying since August

That has been a while, should have been long enough for differing maturity rates to be worked out. It’s still possible she is just that late maturing but that info doesn’t help support that theory. I don’t have any other suggestions. As long as they are not drawing blood, I’d let then work it out.
