Ok, I did not get the eggs I was thinking, that is the next batch. They are all half cemani half Izzy. You have the only cross of that cross. If that makes sense. I got F2's of this cross. At first glance, I don't really know.
There's a chance that some other parent got involved (something like a White Leghorn could easily produce a chick like that from a mixed hen.)
From that parentage, I would expect some black chicks and some that look Isabel. Hmm, probably also some Lavender chicks (lavender dilution, but on the all-black feather pattern of the Ayam Cemani rather than whatever pattern the Isabels have.) And some with the pattern of the Isabels, but without the lavender dilution, so they might be gold or silver with some amount of black. Maybe that's what this chick is trying to do, silver with a bit of black? I don't think that accounts for the foot color, since I would expect blue or black (or maybe a chance of green) from any possible combination of Ameraucana and Ayam Cemani genes. I would not expect plain white or yellow feet.
I don't really know, but I'll be curious to see how it looks as it feathers out!
Look at that little adorable parade! The littles did great last night in their new digs, and are settling in just fine!
