I have 5 chickens and finally one is starting to lay. The first 5 eggs, she layed inside a nest box. Now the last 3 she has layed in a corner of the coop. Any thoughts on how to get her back into the nest box? Anything special to entice her? LOL

Yes. An egg. Or some use golf balls but that doesn't work with mine. Those plastic easter eggs work too if you put enough sand or something in there to make them weigh about as much as an egg does. They like to lay where another has laid an egg. If you use a real egg, mark it, and it won't go bad for a few weeks.

Good question, I have the same problem with my Wyandotte. I caught her trying to lay on the poop board after she laid her first 10 eggs in the nesting box. SO I picked her up and put her in the nest box. She sat there for a min then went outside. Eventually she came back and laid her egg on the poop board anyway :(
