Changing congregations

Quote:
That is exactly how I felt when I found the shul I am now leaving. It makes me sad, but since being there doesn't make me happy anymore I have no reason to stay. I know the Rabbi at the new place and have even gone to services when he first started this new congregation. I liked it well enough then, but I liked my other place better. They have had a few years to grow now and I'm very hopeful that it will work out well for us.

I will be praying for you!!! You are close to my heart, and I really hopes this works out for you! Also, being a part of a fairly new synagogue could be a growth experience for your family.

I am not Jewish - my best friend is - and God is God.

I have been facing the same problem with my church. Been going for years, got married in it nearly 16 years ago. But our Rector left and I just haven't been happy with his replacement. The closest other Episcapal church is 35 minutes away. I'm just praying God will give me guidance.
