Changing Feed

Is it bad to change what you are feeding your chickens?

No. It happens. You change your mind. You get a better price, etc.

If the new feed is quality, then stand your ground. No chicken will starve itself. I have no issues, but if I did, I wouldn't just give in on the first or second day. They'll eat it. They have to.

No. They don't seem to get the "GI upset" that other animals get. I just put the new on top of the old in the feeder. It gets mixed for a few days before the old is gone and they are on the new.
