Changing foods - mix or cold turkey?

I'm changing the feed I give my girls, do I need to mix them to get them used to the new food or just all at once?

I have never had a problem. I usually run out of feed before I get more. I have gotten difierent feed at times and I figure when they are hungry, they'll eat

If I'm training them from crumbles to pellets, I offer both until I think they have the hang of pellets, then I cut way back on the crumbles.
