I live in asia and the temp is about 30-35C in a normal day. I am keeping them hydrated. In images the dark yellow portion is the where the skin is going rough.

A couple of guesses ...
OP is not in North America ... I'm not aware of "pet stores" selling chicks ... maybe I just don't go to the right kind?
OP is a first time chick(en) owner.
The chicks "fur" is really "fuzz" which is shed, and replaced with "pin feather" that grow into feathers ... which molt (fall) out ... quite few times ...
Location would help, breed would help, pictures would help too ...
What kind of feed did the pet store provide?
I agree they are probably starting to grow their adult feathers. Post pictures we can tell you if it’s normal. What happened to the other 4?
They will eat the crumble if that’s what you put in the brooder, adding water won’t hurt them but you’ll have to make small batches they can eat up in an hour or two multiple times a day so that it doesn’t go bad and they get enough to eat.
Is you brooder to hot, maybe that’s why they want to be out with you?
