Well in the last 2 weeks I've made 2 new coops. This makes 3 total. I have 1 coop with all my laying hens, 1 coop with all babies(which is my meat/male coop) and 1 with a rooster and 2 pretty hens(for my pretty babies that I sell).
My question is this. The 2 hens I put in the coop with the rooster have always laid well, when they were in the hen only coop. But now that I've put them in the coop with the rooster they've completely stopped laying. What could be the reason for this? Are they maybe laying and eating the eggs? Is the rooster doing something to the eggs? I don't know.....
