Chanteclair sexing question

Hi all! I hatched two white chanteclairs, and they are so different! I feel like ones got to be a hen and one a boy but I’m not sure. Everything I’ve read says they are notoriously hard to sex. Anyway, here’s the pictures and a bit about them.

Both are three weeks old.

Chick 1: bigger than chick 2, noticeably heavier. But has feathered out substantially faster than chick 2!

Chick 2: smaller, way less feathering than chick 1.

I’m guessing the answer is just to wait and see! Lol

I personally think they are a lil too tiny to tell yet, it is easier at 7-8 weeks

I figured, especially given that I’ve read they are one of the hardest to sex. Just with how different the two are I couldn’t help but ask!

I agree that it is too early. You should look at redness of comb and what wattle growth is present over the next few weeks to identify males.
