Here's a question for you folks. I grew up in a home where French was the language of my parents, so I know exactly how to pronounce "Chantecler" if I were in Quebec where the breed originated, but how do we pronounce it in the States?

In French... "Shaw Tay Clar-er" The "Clar-er" part is hard to translate into an English phonetic spelling, but you might get my drift.

Thanks!

lol. You know, I'm sitting here pronouncing both my version and yours, and I'm coming up with the same pronunciation. Too funny.

This isn't easy on a message board. So does it sound like a French word when it's spoken in the States or is it something like "Chant-Clear?"
