After being fine all weekend, this hen had another ball of mostly liquid at what seems like the top of her crop when she went to roost this evening. She was craning her neck to adjust her crop and although the ball wasn't very big, she was clearly uncomfortable. I gave her a tiny massage and it seemed to have cleared by the time I went out again a couple of hours later.
Even though I dewormed my whole flock with Piperazine 10-12 days ago I think I'm going to go ahead and give her 5 days of Safeguard.
Still waiting to hear if I can get a fecal float done but she's my favourite hen and I don't want to wait to try something else for treatment in case things get worse. She's not eating a whole lot during this molt and I don't want her to get run down.
