I'm starting with my favorite color!

There is a lot of variation in both shade (warm vs. cool) and patterning (more laced vs. more scalloped or solid appearance) with these guys. There's a possibility that either "fee" genes or the same lacing genes that rosetta birds exhibit are at play with the wide variety of appearances.

The base color seems to be a simple dominant, which means that breeding charcoals to non-charcoals will usually get you about 50% charcoal chicks. My original male seems to be homozygous for the gene, so he throws 100% colored chicks.

Oh that's right you have the white primaried tux I want to steal. :ya I have a LOT of work on my mini farm to do before I can set up my next hatch but it will be from you.

:eek: i would be glad to but sadly ur your in CA and its illegal :( the ai testing was an extra 135$ and i didnt have it after 200$ in gnat war

No worries - I knew a bunch of places halted shipping into the whole state vs. just the QT counties recently but didn't realize it was anything but a personal choice! Better safe than sorry.
