Charles and Henry?

Meet Charles (BO). He’s all boy. Bigger. Taller. Strarting to really show his tail plummage. Big C&W and red along the side of his face. Then there is Henry (AustraL) Big C&W like Charles but not red around the face. He is also smaller and doesn’t have tail plummage or legs any larger than the hen Australorps. I guess I need to wait a month or two for crowing to start (they are twelve weeks) but any guesses? Is Henry really a Henry? Or just a hen developing earlier and faster the other Lorps and BOs? All bets are on.

That was my feeling. Just don’t know why he is developing his rooster bits so much more slowly - legs, tail, size. But 12 weeks is still young I guess.

It can depend on the individual on how quickly they mature, some mature more slowly. But yes, 12 weeks is still young.
