Close! Awesome. I need to get a back pack lol
Luna loves her backpack! It has been great: https://www.amazon.com/ZippyPaws-Graphite-Adventure-Backpack-Small/dp/B07N8JXXR9?th=1&psc=1

Here's a screenshot of her prancing with her backpack on (before we put the patches on).

No physical issues. He has an appointment next week at the vet for vaccine updates. I’ll see if I can talk to my vet then. He’s a VERY old school vet, so I’m not sure he would understand. If he has no advice, I will find another vet or specialist that will.

We went to the vet today. I did not ask about his behavior issues… just got the updated vaccines.
Did he get a physical checkup?

I feel like putting him on meds will change his personality completely.
As for whether meds would change his personality completely-- I am not a vet, but I am certain that not all meds are the same. A painkiller would most likely have different effects than an anti-anxiety medication, and an antibiotic for an infection or insulin for diabetes would be different yet.

I am not suggesting that you dope him up to make him quit acting like himself.
But I am suggesting that you make sure he does not have any physical problems that need attention.

For example, when I have a paper cut on my finger, or I bite my tongue, I get grouchy and short-tempered about many other things, and I over-react to things. So if Charlie had something similar, it could have affected how he acted. (If it was something that minor, it probably already got better by itself.)

Besides, he’s been doing awesome this past week. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s possible he went through a fear period?
I am glad he is doing better. Yes, it's possible that he went through a fear period. I don't know enough about them to know whether that would explain his behavior recently.

Yes he did. He got some spray to put on 2 places on his neck that showed up last week. Still don’t know what caused them. Vet says he looks healthy. And I may have spoken too soon. He had a tiny episode about 10 minutes ago, but it didn’t last very long. I am going to try anxiety supplements that I can get without a prescription (the “natural”-ish kind), since it most likely wouldn’t change him too much.

Glad the vet check went well. Next it might be best to have him evaluated by a good trainer. They should be able to help you get to the root of the problem. Medication may help dull his anxiety, but it would be much better to know what's causing it to begin with.
