Charlotte laid her first egg. Should I leave it for a couple days or should I just take it out of the way she's not laying on it?

I don't wanna stress my chicken out. This is her first egg that she laid today, but she wasn't laying on it. She was out in the run for a while.What should I do

It's not going to stress her, why would it? Take it, eat it!

Chickens won't sit on their eggs unless they are broody. And even a broody chicken won't start sitting until they have a clutch of several eggs laid. And a chicken that isn't broody does not care, or even notice, if you take the eggs away.
