One of our RIR hens started laying some very interesting eggs lately- the broad end of the eggs has a very heavy, raised shell deposit- two days ago it formed a perfect capital G. Today we got one that was a perfect capital C. Hmmmm- we're calling the mystery hen "Charlotte"- not sure which one it is.

Maybe something's sending a message "Ouiga Chicken!" or maybe we just have "some hen". Who knows what letters are forthcoming- we're hoping at least for an "O", an "e", or an "a".

    Strangest thing tho!!!
