It surprises me that the temperature difference is that big between North and South Carolina

Right? Humidity levels are about the same but we're about 10 degrees hotter then y'all. My area is known as the armpit of SC.

I can't believe how hot it gets where you live what's the hottest it has ever got?

The highest ever recorded temperature in the city I live was 105.1 (recorded July 2012)

I've been dying to breed my RBW and favacuna together. My Houdini serama went missing and I found her sitting on eggs in the goat pen. Just going to let her sit so I slipped a few of my favacuna eggs under here and besides, it's been FOREVER since I've had baby chicks... Okay, it's been a year but still....

The highest I ever remember it being here is in the 101 range. It’s not the temperature itself that is bad, it’s the humidity. Even 70s is unpleasant when it’s muggy.

Reminds me of the time I was at my grandparents (up north) for 2 weeks, when I came back the air felt so sticky my fingers were wet. Normally I would be used to it but it felt so strange after being gone so long. No wonder my “northerner” cousins never want to visit!

Wow, you get HOT HOT summers! Our summer days are usually between 70F and 90F.

But those freezing cold winters …I love the snow but I can only handle cold for so long! I was so ready for spring.

Our climate is actually pretty mild here. I mean, it does get hot in the summer, but not Arizona hot.

Very true. The humidity level today was in the 80s. Mix that with the 88 degree weather and it's a free sauna outside all summer long!
