His parents were a Buff Orpington/Barred Rock Rooster X Buff Orpington/Australorp hen.

Smarty Pants, Cuckoo EE. I believe she's the one that passed this on.

That's fascinating. I know that my D'Uccle, Peanut, she got increasingly more white spots with every moult.

Normal for a mottled bird to get more white as they molt, but this girl has only parents with the barring gene.
