My special girl is Penny (the EE hen drinking from the pool with the bunny on my avatar). She was born with a cross beak and had difficulty eating on her own as a chick. Deep food bowls, monthly beak trimmings and watered down food helped her overcome this. She is going to be 7 years old this July. I love Penny, she is the reason why I began rescuing birds.
