Hey guys. Just popped on to say hi. Just been way to busy. Hope you all are doing well. Here's some pics of my first hatchlings. They have grown.

This one is got his 1 week old sibling that's 3 weeks difference.


This is today. This is a Cream Legbar 2 are out now another piped and a few more eggs due tomorrow. I know. I shouldn't mix dates but you all say they can live 2/3 days without food. So I've chanced a day between them.

So exciting. It doesn't matter how many times you do it. The anticipation is so awesome.

I will pop back on later when you are all up. And have a catch up as I'm at home today so will be great to say hi.

Hey Sil and Chirp- sorry I missed ya- went to check on my big chickens- actually, all looks great!
I don't think anything is wrong with them after all. I got 24 eggs from the 30 hens- mine and Michael's combined- That sounds like a pretty good amount to me- I wonder if that means someone is stealing the eggs from the coop over there- there are no locks, and yesterday just 6 total?
Something is fishy there!!

My brain is not working today- too much overload!!!! I really just want to sit and cry today- but I won't, just feeling so sad about the OK thing......and frustrated with the LACK of our stuff getting done.
Hope everyone is well today!!I still haven't fed my chickens outside- or the duckies- I must go do that now. But I did get to go see my LF's!! YAY!!
I cannot wait to get them here-
I just want everything done NOW, however impractical that is......I just want to be settled again!!

After my Mom and Ken passed in 2009, everything has just been upside down- Yes, we have had some really AMAZINGLY wonderful things happen, but for the most part, STRESS AND CHAOS-
I am just sick sick sick of it........
Sorry for the rant- I'm going to feed my feathered kids, brb

You hang in there love. . .it will get better soon! Yay on the chickens too! Still may want to plan on this fall getting them treated. Late August, early September or so, then again say January. The Valbazen is expensive ($45), like most wormers, etc., but will catch all the bad boy worms too!

Many of us are in shock, horror and grief over the OK thing.

Many folks praying for those folks too! Aid is on the way. Here on the coast, I know we deal with hurricanes, but I have always feared the tornadoes off those things more. At least there is a little warning/prep time with hurricanes, tornadoes, just seem to come out of no where and fast. Unbelievable. I don't know how folks live in the tornado belt. God bless them. . .

Gotta get back outside and finish my worming saga, and hopefully deal with that garden I've been trying to get to for days. Uggghhhh. . .would rather take a nap, heehee
