I started out just wanting a few eggs, and fun chickens. Then I thought about doing mainly heritage breeds, now I am toying with the bresse idea, and selling lots of eggs, so I am thinking of going the route of business endeavors, but I really like the idea that at some point they can pay for their feed!!

OK, for you all that might be looking for a fancy chicken.....check out Bredas. or Kraienkoppes.
I need more eggs, so I am looking at adding a few LF's of differrent kinds. That's why I am interested in the Deli's. Are they good egg layers, good size for meat?

YES on both!! They use to be the birds the US breed for meat before the Cornish X's came out.

I cant wait to try my first Sulmtaler chickens, but that will be next year. These chicks are my foundation flock. They are suppose to be yummy yum

Tony, are you doing good with the selling? interested in how you are going about it, do you have ads placed online, newspapers, how are you doing it?

I sell all my chicks within hours of placing the add on criagslist.

I must get a clear vision of what my goal is in this chicken thing. If I don't, I'll end up with a bunch of pretty chickens to look at, and no real point. I am trying to avoid that type of situation!!
