Bama, what is your end goal for your chicken fancy? Are you planning on eating, breeding, selling- What?

Yes to all. When the chicks are old enough this fall I will get my NPIP-AI from Alabama. I will breed and sell hatching eggs and chicks of the Sulmtalers and the cream legbars. I will also eat the Sulmtalers that are culls and may even keep a separate grow out pen for 8-12 week old meat. I will also eat my cream legbar eggs for breakfast etc. The silkies are for brooding but I will sell eggs and chicks from them also, they are from breeder quality lines and I will cull and select them also for standard etc....
Thats my dream and Im sticking to it

NO! As long as I don't buy any more. But will have to get 2 white leghorn and 2 Light Brahma roosters. All mine ended up to be hens.

if I let him build that thing now, I will never have more than a trail through the house with all the boxes of Shtuff around still.
That darn duck pen took a lot of time, but they had to have somewhere to go.......I don't like when I walk in the house and it smells like a circus set up in the lot next door.....
