Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here in so long, lots of new peeps since I've been gone! Can't beleive how many posts there are now, never knew it would grow like this from that first night me silver and chickn were acting like loons so chickn started this, so cool!
Anyway I had a baby call not even 24hrs die last week it was so sad. I'm getting two more batches of shipped eggs sent out on monday, 6 more domestic teal duck eggs since I only had one hatch (a girl) and 12 more sq snowy call duck since only one girl in that batch. Those both were hard hatches 5 out of seven of the teals were wrong end pippers and I noticed to late or I could of intervened and only one call made it to lockdown since i only started with 3. This is my last hatch for the season!
We had a horrible scare, my 3yr old got really sick and her fever spiked to 104.3 so we ended up rushing her to the er and it was a uti that turned into a kidney infection. It was one of the scariest things I've ever seen. Her lower fever broke and she woke up from a nap uncontrollably shaking (almost convulsing) lethargic and grimacing. It went from flu like before she fell asleep to that just during a 2hr nap. They put her on antibiotics and within 48hrs she was almost completely back to herself. Now she's really back to her bratty crazy self, i never thought i could be so happy to see her through a fit! But we have a follow up with her dr on Tuesday an he's supposed to order a renal ultrasound to make sure it's not an actual kidney issue that cause it all. So I need good vibes and prayers!

OMG, I hope your sweet baby girl is better!!!! Poor thing!! I have had super scary incidents like that .......with 4 kids, you pretty much end up experiencing some pretty crazy shtuff!! I know those kinds of things are hard to get through, but somehow we just do- Thank God!!!

I know what ur saying about the four kids, that's how many I have and why I didn't saying the scariest thing ever cause her siblings have scared me right up there with this one!
