When we originally built the run we had 4 pekins and 4 mallards in it and they free range some but mostly wanted to lounge around in there .... so they must have been happy with it

We discussed possibly processing if we got too many roosters ..we decided its not for us ... so guess we have to many roos I will be giving them away ...

Yeah, I don't think I personally could process, but DH knows how, and he can handle that sort of thing, I would not have to do it. His step dad was a butcher, so he learned all that stuff-

did the predator get into the run, or was it while free ranging?

Well then, i think it should be big enough- I am too afraid to free range- for many reasons.....the biggest being that our property is not fenced at all

AAAWWWWWW- I know you can give them gatorade in their water and that has electrolytes. I did that with the weirdo chick and he was much better the next day!!
