Quote: LUKE!!!!!! i am going to bed right now- was just saying good night to Silver, then getting in the bath, and to bed!!!!!!! I think the duckies will be ok for one night in the rain. Yes? It's like 75 degrees out
Morning everyone. . .turtle invited chirpingcricket inside for a little shut eye, woke up, lap top still going, going, going. Woke up real late, exhausted. Guess that rabbit wanted me to see what I missed. heehee Hate I missed out on the party.
About to head outside to clean that nasty bathroom.
Put on a couple of loads of laundry, hit the garden to tie up the tomatoes, add/mound soil to potatoes, sqash, etc.
Then meet DH at the branch to relax this pm. I'll be checking in on ya'll.
Mornin Kids-
I have a dilemma with the duck pen materials Hopefully someone who knows will offer some good wise advice......TONY..........
Also, what about size? The yard timbers are 8 ft long
First, Let me show what I have materials wise:
Some of the yard timbers
and i have 10 of these galvanized metal things equivalent to a 2x6x12'
so should I use wood or metal thingys for the bottom of the pen?
I also have a few, maybe 5 metal 2x2x8' eq. size
several pt 2x4
I have a few concerns about using the metal: screws sticking out, scraping ducks Sharp edges, that sort of thing
And I have plenty of hardware cloth.
What should I do. I am going to need posts, obviously, and would really like to use the yard timbers for the base and upright posts. Then I think the metal 2x6x12 things for the cross members across the top-?
