Alaskan. . .Oh my goodness that is lovely, I'm a flower nut! I'll get started on those thermals, cashmere, huh, I do alot of shopping at Goodwill, but. . .I, don't know about that one! Sounds absolutely divine, I'll look into that anyway just for grins and giggles!!

DH was wondering if Homer is near the Kenai Penusala? We'll look it up. So many places we'd love to see! We are going on a 4 day Holland cruise, with land travel/stays the remainder of the trip. Thanks for the cruise tip re" cold viewing decks...just hope they have a warm pool somewhere!

Probably be exhausted when it's over! But it's a once in a lifetime event and want to "get her done" before we get too old to enjoy!!

Homer is on the Kenai Peninsula. We do not have a train stop (that ends in Seward) and we get a few cruise ships, but not lots. Seward has a much bigger large boat dock, and lots more cruise ships, and I think that their down town is much prettier, they are also close to one of the glaciers you can walk to.
