some times i feel chicken stupid when i read the forums on here.. @alaskan my dad got all down in the dumps the first ship we had of EE's that my daughter bought him didnt make it. he fell in love with the little cockerel. named him joker and every thing.. the rest of the small order didnt make it either him and mom were devistated. some times luck and nature are cruel

this is true- did they keep them warm enuf? that is how I killed a baby chicken. A little blue easteregger

now that does make sense to me. Oh well, "ain't nothing gonna break my stride. . ." may slow it down, make it wobble, put a dent in it....well you know what I mean.....

they were warm enough.. its so sad when they got there they werent doing well drooping wings and paniced peeping. but the replacement shipment is just fine. though dad says the blue boy is no joker. he does have a injun, a harlot, and a dust bunny. dad is 68 and retired.. the brooder is right next to his chair so they listen to cnn with him

he is a bit of a chicken addict in his old age, ee's, rhode island reds, production reds, and buff orpingtons.
