Hmmmm???they were warm enough.. its so sad when they got there they werent doing well drooping wings and paniced peeping. but the replacement shipment is just fine. though dad says the blue boy is no joker. he does have a injun, a harlot, and a dust bunny. dad is 68 and retired.. the brooder is right next to his chair so they listen to cnn with himhe is a bit of a chicken addict in his old age, ee's, rhode island reds, production reds, and buff orpingtons.

OMG, sounds like my house......OR Sil's......LOLthe avatar pic that i have is the pic of our poor little joker.. well.. as far as dad goes... i called his sister tonight (shes 72) and shes a chicken addict.. we are in cahoots to have a guinea or two magically show up at the house.. so far he has his hen house plumb full (its big too) and 50 broilers growin for my moms sis. 7 hunting dogs and 9 ducks... enough to drive you batty
