It was bad when I logged on and I said something to Arky thinking maybe we could get another conversation going to calm them down but she had stepped away from the computer.

I don't know who those people were or their ages I assumed young but we have to remember we have some great young kids that come on here and it's great to have a nice place for them to come. I'm so glad Nifty and Terri were there last night. Believe me not all forms have such great moderators as we do and stay on top of things like our Mods do. We are truly blessed to have them.

Last night was my first time in the BYC chat room. That being said,I don't know nor understand what has been going on,in regards to,recent events occurring in the chat room. However brief,I did enjoy the time spent in chat and look forward to future use in an updated,secure format of the same with all you cluckers!

I see what happens when a guy doesn't use chat for a week. It falls apart. BYC chat is the only chat i have enjoyed since I began chatting on the computer in 2000. Now I am left with no where to chat again. I feel for you lacy_94 and all those who miss chatting. Where else can i be one of the cool guys in a chat room other than BYC.........no where.......thanks you butt munches who messed it up for everyone.
Please do what you can nifty, all us BYC chatters will wuv ya fer ever for what you can do....or something....

No IP address info with the old chat, but the new chat I'm looking into has full chat logs, user registration, etc!

No fear Greg... we should have a better chat up soon!

I suggested that last night, but it's unlikely as the chat is javascript. But depending on how indepth the logging is, he should at least be able to retrieve browser information from the chat link itself. But that can be hard to do, and if he can, he'll have to cross reference the browser information (time) to the "login" time within the chat text that was sent to him. Then you have to sift through all the history stats to try and find a match for the browser information to track it back to the specific user.

In other words, a royal pain in the butt. In all reality, the changes nifty mentioned are a step in the right direction and from there, just let what happened pass as water under the bridge.

Being a Mod is hard, being the site owner is worse. Biggest thing of all is you can't take it personally.
