I can see several pips! :ya

Yay!!! How's the weather down your way Ladycat?
We had a nasty T-storm thru here Saturday night. It knocked over a piece of plywood and killed my only doeling. :hit it puts me back a whole year in my breeding program. Sigh. I'll repeat the breeding but it's pretty disappointing. Two kids lost in less than a week. :he
We have been getting sunny days in between the rainy ones so while it's very humid and damp it's not been a problem other than slightly muddy roads.

my pens look like yours now. Its been raining (just todays mess, Im not talking about everyday for the last week) since 8am and it just let up.. this crap has got to end....:barnie

We got another foot plus of rain over the weekend. Then six or more today. Riverbanks are over flowing. The little bridge by my house gave out. There's not enough shavings to keep the birds dry.

A power outage killed a bunch.... I mean a BUNCH of quail cots that were hatching and some American game I had hatching as well. Still have hope for some of the other eggs in the incubators... Showing signs of life, they stayed, clear or no signs of veins this morning got tossed. Down to 1/4 of what was due to hatch this week.

Mother nature must be having a hard month. Did someone do the rain dance wrong? Or is she making up for the drought of 2011?

Quote: Thank Goodness we have not lost power.... yet. I has rained every day for hours. We live really close to the Red River. The bayou behind our house drains into it. they have closed the river due to high waters and from the bridge you can see it up into the trees. Our bayou has flooded twice but the water has managed to go back down. I am a little stressed. I can see myself with a truck load of chickens running from the flood.
