Speckles, my rooster, crowed today in celebration of our RIR hen's first egg! (I think it was the RIR!) It was Speckles first crow!! Atcually, he crowed, like, 4 or 5 times!! Of course, this means we have to give him away. I am gonna cry like a baby when we have to.

I love him so much! Soon I'll post a pic of the egg!

I am still waiting for mine... hopefully by Christmas.

Sorry about the crowing-- it's just such a bummer that such a little guy can make so much noise!

If they would only learn to be quiet they could stick around.

Good.... A while ago we got our first egg from Sunny, the BO, and just yesterday our first egg from Lady Lacy, my BR! Speckles, the BR roo is in santa paula.
