Chattanooga, TN (surrounding areas) CHICKEN LOVERS

Awe... I can't make it...
Would love to meet several of you... and do some swapping.
I will have cockerels to place this fall also... Rose Comb RIR, Swedish Flower Hens, and Rhodebars

Maybe they will do one in the fall...

The one in Ft. Oglethorpe is every month basically. It does seem to be growing. I may do the same thing as you Stacy. Would like to see what the Ooltewah sale has to offer.

I have a couple of Rhodebar cockerels I am going to part with. Double barred, true autosexed. They are 7 weeks old. These boys are an excellent opportunity to put over some nice RIR to begin a Rhodebar breeding program. PM me if interested.

Went to the Ooltewah Tractor supply sale Saturday and it was not well attended. Sold a couple of Light Brahma hens but didn't get anything for them. I didn't want to haul them back home and in a moment of weakness sold them for nothing. Started early that morning at the Ft Oglrthorpe TS and it went really well as all there swaps do. Guinnie foul, rabbits, lot of chickens, goats, dogs, mobile vet clinic and a lot of customers. Will give the Ooltewah another shot if they do it again. I will try to keep info up about the next sale.

Ooltewah TSC is having another sale, Aug 17th. Just like Ft. O it will take time for word to get out and people to start attending. I was looking forward to going to last weekend and
could not because of a ASAP fencing project at home. My donkey had some sort of accident on Monday morning and has a badly sprained foreleg...anyone else wake up to unexplained injuries?

Looking for some quail around the Chattanooga area. Any ideas. I would really like to have some Button Quail but also looking for the common breeds too. Would like to have a breed pair.
