Cheap Baby Chickens?

I was looking to buy baby chickens and I saw some websites that sold baby chickens. I have never bought baby chickens from a website but it costs around $2 for 5 baby chickens... Is that normal?

They are on the higher end of that spectrum at Ideal Poultry (idealpoutry.com) Never has a death and have 8 happy+ healthy chicks right now

Are they meat birds? End of season deals? My chicks were $5 each...thats quite a difference

Oh! It is usually around 3-4 dollars per chicken but very good company. Recommended!

That's suspicious in my book. It could be an end of the season sale or the chickens are older (like 2 or 3 weeks old) and couldn't be sold so they are "on sale" or, it could be a complete rip off, maybe they are sick or maybe they are carriers of some disease or something, I would investigate thoroughly and I will ask the same question that many others have...what's the website?
