Cheap hatching eggs to fill out my flock?

Aye... but the thought of cracking fertile eggs I could incubate... I intellectually understand the concept of testing for fertility, but I know if I see one sign of fertility, impulsively I’d want to toss the rest into the incubator right away. If they are clears, then not a huge loss.

Compared to the Freezers, Cold room, and electric heating in WWOOFer cabins the incubators don’t really count on the electric bill. I’m also on generator or Solar in the trailer, if I can get my “room temperature” stable.

I can always cull the infertiles as I go... see... impulsive, and I’m good at convincing myself that this is a great idea! Too many hatching threads I’ve been looking at lately have probably influenced me heavily!

Weird Wayne is probably just misunderstood. Befriend him and you might have another chicken keeper around who can help you out with tips, medicine, free eggs, etc. I wouldn't advise letting him know your place of residence though........ hehe. Like I said, poor chap is probably just misunderstood.
