Cheap homemade incubator.. Think its worth a try?? [VIDEO]

I looked up how to make a cheap and simple incubator and this is the cheapest and simplest one I found, just wondering if anyone has either tried it or think it would be worth trying out?

Yes, that would work assuming your house never changed temperature. People have done lots of these with light bulbs. I would rather spend another $7 for a thermostat though.

The first video on this page will show you how to wire up a water heater thermostat to a dropcord. If you step up to a wafer thermostat it will wire the same. If you really want to use the heat pad then the wafer thermostat would probably work better but its about $22.
