I had a guinea pig when I was growing up. He was a mean little thing. Bit me constantly.

I should have picked societies, the zebras are far too aggressive. I'm building them an aviary in a last ditch attempt to get them to get along.

The American ones are like Africanized bees. Horrible creatures. If you can find English, German, or Dutch lines, get those. It's like English Orpingtons versus the American trash. If someone is selling Garrie Landry lines those'll be quality birds. probably be hard to find them though. Timor zebras are also precious and not insane grump little butts.

I don't know where y'all find these underground bird trading places with special lines. I had a hard enough time locating regular old pet store finches.
I'd love to have quality aviary birds but the only circles I'm in are ardently anti-breeding so I can't exactly find good contacts that way.
