But I know damn well he doesn't look at his tag so I'll shoot him a p.m. like a nice person would do.

I don't have to look at my tags because I have tags turned off.

If I get tagged in a forum or thread that I am watching, I will eventually see the tag but won't necessarily respond to it.

If I get tagged in a forum that I never look at, I will never know about the tag.

Kiki did tag me in a particular thread that I happened to stumble across over a year after she tagged me. I have no idea how many other times that she has tagged me that I don't know about.

The only reason I know about this tag is because she posted the link in a PM.
