We just shifted from kid to lamb watch. Some how we just bought 6 more Jacob sheep and well 3 of the 5 ewes came with extra weight.

We had our first lamb today! Cold and rainy! I will take pictures as soon as I finish feeding. Breakfast in bed for the goats today.
It makes it easier to feed, but it is sure hard on the hands when it is this cold.

Two more ewes to go!

hi eveyone!
I must have missed this post for a while. Lol
I had 2 bred ewes we thought would be due in march but my one ewe, zoe, must have gotten bred sooner than we thought.
These 2 were born on january 31st the same day their mommy was born 2 years ago.
They are almost 3 weeks but they are so darn cute, I'll post pics I took when they were born.

Like i said, we weren't on watch, so this little guy was born out in the pen with the other 3 sheep my horse and donkey. They were all so sweet and curious!

Then here is the little girl, she was born in the barn stall, like the boy should have been. Lol.

Now heres a cute family picture!

We named the Boy hayden cause he was born in a hay pile by the bale of hay, lol. and we named the little girl hayley.

If you look up the meanings of both names its soo funny and perfect.
