My Alice kidded on Sunday night at 8:30. I went out to check and there they were. The coldest night we had..go figure. Two little boys and a little girl. I am so proud of her. Here is a pic

Ruh-roh. My heifer has expelled her mucous plug...

Oh, I know - it's supposed to rain/snow tonight.

We grabbed panels and made her run-in shed into a stall... Bedded her down good. Otherwise, I just know she'd drop that calf all the way on the other side of the 40 acre field and I'd be packing a calf in tomorrow!!!!!

I am FREAKING OUT!!!!

10:00 check - no calf yet. She was laying down, and had a sort of wet patch by her bum. It looked like a lick, but I don't know how she could have licked herself back there...

Don't think it's the water sac, but heck if I know what that's supposed to look like?
