check out my brooder cam just locked down 37 eggs**** 30 are out ****

just saw one hatch out...wet and tired - poor little thing!

great idea to put a cam up - thank you for sharing this with us!

My dog heard the new chick cheeping and was looking all over trying to find it. Kept staring at my wife's rabbits thinking they were making the noise.
Cool cam. Thanks.

I accidentally left the computer on hibernate last night and somehow it turned back on. My husband and I were woken back up at 3am to the sound of those cute little babies. We jumped up and ran out of bed because we are currently on day 19 and we thought that there was something going on in our bator!!!

I'm up to 26 now. I think pulling them last night was a mistake. Three got shrink wrapped one didn't make it.maybe we'll have a few more today.

70% aint bad though. This was my first "dry" hatch it went much better than other hatches. I kept humidity in the 20s for the first 18 days.

What did you have it at for lockdown?

I think we have 4 in the bator drying off. I'm a little woried about one. He was the shrink wrapped one. I think he was in the egg a bit too long and he's having a hard time getting his feet under himself.

Were they in a turner before lockdown? Do you just put a regular egg carton in at lockdown? I have only seen 3 of them, what breed are they?

I just set my first eggs last night and I am SUPER nervous....
