It seems like if my girls go through a day where they lay less than other days, then the following day I get some really funky looking eggs...weigh it too! Keep a record of your biggest egg!

I would candle it first if you can to see if there are two yolks--- if its a double yolker it is my understanding that it probably won't hatch... at least that is what I have read here and other places.

I'd make a lot of noise if I were to drop something that big outta myself too!( relative in our sizes, human chick to poultry hen.)
