Hi everyone check out my girls. They will be turning 4 month old on Dec 5th. I am so proud of my girls I just have to show them off. I got them from Murray. I do wonder why one of them is bigger than the other two though if they were born at the same time.
This is all of them eating the grass around my cilantro plants. Matilda, Hilda, and Agnus respectively. Who do you think will lay an egg first?

This is the boss of them all and the biggest and lightest in color.

I was making some changes to their 'A' frame coop I built them and they were just laying down catching some sun. I would of thought they would be terrified of the sound of the saw, but apparently what they are afraid of is planes and crows.

This is my crazy Hilda she is the one that challenges everyone to a fight and then backs down. Also she is the one that keep my cat in check not that she needs it. From her erect tail and her fighting technique I am thinking I can't be so lucky that one of them does not turn out to be a rooster. I just want eggs.

Thanks for allowing me to share my girls with you all. I am loving the RIRs.

Beautiful girls! I love that 3rd picture!

My guess is the boss will be laying first. (the one in the back in the 1st pic) She looks the most mature with her comb/wattles.

They look just like my rir hens. They will be laying machines. But to give you fair warning, some dummy will be on here soon telling you some crap about how they are production reds and not heritage, like it matters. They are beautiful and will be your top egg producers.

That was nice.

Ok, I'll be the "dummy" they do look to be production reds. It doesn't matter unless you have kids that plan on showing them for 4-h or something. RIR or PR you'll still get tons of eggs and have tons of fun with them.

It cracks me up how all my chickens have their own distinct personalities, I would of never guessed that before I got them. I agree with the others, your bossy girl looks the most developed and will probably start laying first.

Lovely girls, thanks for sharing.

I just love my RIR (Mrs. Feathers)...I thought RIRs looked scary but mine is the sweetest and friendliest of all my girls. Your last pic ..she just shines and those colors are beautiful...what fun..thanks
