Here are some new pics of my 17 day old Silver Laced Polish (roo) and Rhode Island Red (hen) mixes. The first picture is the roo and the hen last year when they were the same age as my new chicks. The reddish colored chick has a bald spot on its neck where the hen was pecking it. The hen killed 2 of the 4 that hatched. I was lucky to save these 2 cuties. Notice they are getting feather crests on their heads. Not as much as their dad had at their age.
