Check out our new silkie Trio [pic heavy!]

Just so everyone can rest in peace we decided to keep the trio. They have been so cute and I can't stand to let them go yet. I will have hatching eggs available from them after the 1st of the year in small amounts. Please pm me if you might be interested.

Maybe you should hatch some first to see if they are fertile and how the chicks come out. This way people know what they're buying into. It would be a real bummer to get four toed or multi colored birds from these. Since their conditions were so terrible, you don't even know if they will breed true. Good luck with them...they look nice on the outside, but birds hide many genes that you can only identify by hatching if you don't know their entire history.

I guess I would hatch some and keep them, maybe sell a few eggs, and then sell them if you want to. If you sell them, might as well start some new stock for yourself.
They are very cute, be careful-they are very evil as well, LOL!!!

Oh yes, I know! I have been very careful around them. The Rooster knows I'm onto him and so he's been a very bad roo and keeps hiding behind his lady's when he knows I'm going to pick him up, and he never crows in my presence even though I want to hear him crow! I'm sure that when I house sit for Alyssa this next week I will wake up to him standing over my bed. DUN DUN DUN

Had to share this new pic, I think its really cute ^^ Though one hen is missing from it.
