Check out the comb and wattles on Honey!

And here is one of Honey's 'ostrich' eggs. The one on the left is a 'large egg' from our farmer's market. The one on the right is one of Honey's whoppers. She gives us one of these every 3-4 days. I think the picture makes it look bigger than it really is... but it is huge nonetheless.

The hens do not have barring, except on their wings, which is hidden in Honeys pictures. The males tails are barred. Here's a couple of my girls, and the one I was talking about in my earlier post. She really is a beautiful girl!! And she may be the cross, but who knows. The Delaware was developed between a New Hampshire Red and a Barred Rock, with many picking and choosings. Oh! And I get two eggs that look like that! Lol. I suggest the Delaware, or this cross, to ANYONE because they are so docile and beautiful, and lay wonderful eggs.
