I love Polish chickens. They are so comical and full of life. My Edwina (a W/C Blue hen) makes me smile every time I see her.

Polish are very sweet. I pick mine up and carry them around all the time, even the Roos that I pictured here and they are large. The hens are a doll, soooo sweet and lay every day!

I don't hav any chickens ... YET. But I really love polish. I'm hoping to get silver-laced & gold-laced soon. my mom says no ornamental chicks yet.

Maybe I can dupe her into thinking they're great layers (don't they lay about 140-160 per year?)

I am so excited I just picked up my fist polish today. She is absolutely gorgeous and I cant imagine why anyone would have had her at auction today. She seems to be in good health and pest free. She seems to have a very good temperament. I believe she is a gold-laced and her top feathers seem to be very nicely formed and rounded. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow.
