Check out this Craigslist claim! Super Chickens I guess!

In the last few months I have had 3 people (who I know ) tel me there chicken layed 2 eggs a day. 1 lady told me that was normal. Are they a little slow or am I. Are maybe they cant tell the truth. I have studied chickens for 20 years raised them for 15 I thought one egg everyday was very good???? If I am wrong PLEASE let me know... Lisa

if one lays 1-2 a day, and two others lay 2-3 a day, that's 5-8 a day.... I'm impressed, and my girls are apparently majorly slacking.. I've got 24 birds and am getting 2-3 eggs a day.. yes, 2 or 3... not 23.

I can't wait to see what they do with the extra hour they get in couple of weeks when Daylight Savings ends and we set the clocks back and pick up an hour!!

I have four Barred Rock hens and five Production Red hens. When I got started, someone on here told me to expect two eggs a day for every three hens. That has turned out to be almost exactly the truth, although every now and then I will get five (one less) or seven (one more).
If I were our Craigslist friend, I would hang on to those chickens !!!
